Ragnar is excited to Partner with First Decents for the 2012 Colorado Race. First Descents offers young adult cancer fighters and survivors (ages 18 to 39) a free outdoor adventure experience designed to empower them to climb, paddle and surf beyond their diagnosis, defy their cancer, reclaim their lives and connect with others doing the same.

It costs $1,000 to send a young adult with cancer to an FD program; we ask that each Ragnar teams join Team FD and make a goal of raising at least $1000 for FD. Each team member would only have to raise $83.33 to make this happen.

Long-time HERA partner, Petzl, is donating one team entry to each of the 2012 Ragnar Relays, as well as Florida Keys and Del Sol in 2013, to the HERA Women’s Cancer Foundation.
